Ezgi was born in Izmir, in 1987. She graduated from Anadolu University's Industrial Design department in 2009. During her studies, she did internships at Turkey's biggest consumer electronics producers, Vestel and Arçelik. She also worked for Aksu Suardi Architecture and Design Studio in Milan in 2008, which helped her gain experience in furniture and lighting design. Back in Istanbul in late 2009, she started working for Dream Design Factory, taking part in coordinating design-related urban events such as, Istanbul Design Week 2010, Design Talks Istanbul, Human Cities: Celebrating Public Space - the EU funded project between Brussels and Istanbul. From 2011 to 2015 she had been a part of Tasarım Üssü Design Studio's design team, getting the chance to specialize in structural packaging and graphic design.  The projects she was involved received many awards like Crescents and Stars for Packaging in Turkey, Worldstar by World Packaging Organization, and Observeur du Design from France. 
Using her experience in design and her skills in communication and organization, Ezgi currently proceeds her projects as a freelancer.
